🌿 Preparing for Your Acupuncture Appointment: Eat a light meal or snack about 1–2 hours before your appointment. Acupuncture on an empty stomach can cause lightheadedness. Stay hydrated, Avoid caffeine and alcohol before your session, as they can affect your body’s response. Most importantly, come with an open mind and give yourself time to rest afterward.

✨ Why Shower Before Your Massage Appointment - Enhances Relaxation: A warm shower helps loosen muscles, making it easier for your body to relax and respond to the massage. - Improves Hygiene: Cleansing the skin helps remove sweat, oils, and odors—ensuring a more pleasant experience for both you and your therapist. - Prevents Skin Irritation: Showering removes dirt and bacteria that could mix with massage oils or lotions, reducing the risk of skin irritation or breakouts. - Promotes Better Absorption of Oils: Clean skin absorbs massage oils and creams more effectively, increasing their therapeutic benefits.

Sujittra Kowpairot (Jit), a Board Certified Doctor of Acupuncture. My practice is committed to a holistic approach that addresses both symptoms and underlying causes of health issues. The goal is to promote sustained wellness through prevention, healing, and the restoration of balance, all aimed at supporting your overall health and well-being.

What is Acupuncture? Acupuncture is a complete system of medicine derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine, integrated with modern anatomical and physiological knowledge. It is used to: Promote, maintain, and restore health. Prevent imbalance and disease. Alleviate pain. Facilitate healing. Improve mobility. Enhance function and quality of life. Acupuncture works by stimulating specific anatomical points, selected through both traditional palpation and modern clinical assessment. This stimulation—whether manual, mechanical, thermal, or electrical—elicits neurophysiological responses in the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. It also triggers biochemical and hormonal processes that help regulate the body and relieve symptoms, particularly pain. As part of a comprehensive healthcare approach, acupuncturists may collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create an integrated treatment plan tailored to your specific goals and needs.

Acupuncture treatments use high-quality, single-use sterilized needles, which are retained for about 20-30 minutes. Depending on your condition, I may suggest additional techniques such as electrostimulation, fire cupping or gua sha. If you have any treatment preference please let me know. If you are averse to needles, we can focus solely on fire cupping as an alternative.

I specialize in addressing a range of health concerns, including:
* Pain Management: neck and shoulder pain, arm and hand pain, back pain, sciatica, hip pain, and leg pain, among others.
* Digestive Disorders: constipation, diarrhea, bloating, indigestion, and other related concerns.
* Sleep Issues: difficulties with falling asleep and staying asleep.
* Mental Health Disorders: depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and more.
* Headaches
* Women’s Health: menopause, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), irregular, heavy, or painful menstruation, infertility, and other related issues.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage takes Swedish massage one-step further to address chronic pain and injury. This soothing, therapeutic treatment releases toxins, tension and pain. It's used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation massage is a gentle Swedish massage that uses smooth, gliding strokes to help you relax. A relaxation massage has substantial health benefits: improving blood circulation and stimulating the body’s lymphatic system, which carries away waste products, helps with insomnia, promotes clarity of mind and emotional balance.

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy, also referred to as Essential Oil therapy, can be defined as the art and science of utilizing naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit. Essential oils can also be absorbed through the skin, where they travel through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing.
